The Time Knight
PR-EVOLUTION DANCE COMPANY
The newest performance of PR-Evolution Dance Company was inspired by the world-famous novel Momo by Michael Ende and the questions it poses: what does it mean to live in a world where there is no time for anything? How do we give power to our fears?
Our story takes place in a small town where everyday events happen. Everything is filled with life, love for each other, friendship, reconciliation, love, play and joy… But suddenly something happens, and one after another the shadows of people come to life. They want more; what they already have is not enough. They are tense, irritable, they can’t hear and listen to each other anymore. The only exception is a little girl who is loved by everyone and for whom it is important to be able to love everyone. She is the only one who can fight against the strange enemy – but will a little girl be able to save everyone? In this exciting, entertaining and enthralling piece, the importance of human relations, the meaning of time and the relevance of creating fears in our lives arise. How can we deal with our shadows?
In addition to the captivating story, the performance is made unforgettable, exciting, entertaining and thought-provoking at the same time through the special visual experience, the exciting movement material that pushes the boundaries of genres, and the choreography by Zsófia Nemes.
A world where people laugh, cry, quarrel and rejoice, where ordinary people’s stories are written for us – stories about friendship, reconciliation, human feelings. But something happens, our own shadow haunts us, and the constant rush takes over – a rush to have more, to have better, to become bigger and more popular; we have no time for each other, for ourselves, for life. And our shadows become our masters; they are the grey men. A world which can only be saved by one little girl…
