Agape, the purest form of love, selfless, unconditional, active and forgiving, existed even before the coming of Jesus. There are many people, many of us, who feel they have reached a dead end, immersed in the ruling belief of external reality, chasing shadows of themselves.

Our world consists of an abundance of colours. What kind of harmony and unique structure might we discover amongst them? In this performance, the audience will be presented with three different styles, and yet they will all come together as a whole.

The performance was inspired by the world-famous novel Momo by Michael Ende and the questions it poses: what does it mean to live in a world where there is no time for anything? How do we give power to our fears?

 The content of the performance is based on the Hungarian poet Endre Andy’s love poems, whereas the thematic basis is provided by the American psychologist David Deida’s descriptions of relationships.

Contemporary dance performance to Stravinsky’s legendary piece in cooperation with the Divisi Chamber Orchestra and Attila Bardóczy. The Soldier’s Tale (1918) was the first piece of the neoclassical period of the Russian-born composer Igor Stravinsky, who later emigrated to the United States, and is perhaps the first multi-art piece born at the beginning of the twentieth century.

This performance talks about human relations – as far as music and dance can “talk”. The desire for love is the essence of human nature; it is precisely meant to force us to unite: what used to be two can become “one” again in love. We seek and seek, but cannot find it...

This relates the story of a self-absorbed life that became a black jacket; blind wandering in an infinite tunnel, seeking a feeling of the reality of being. Reality is lost, the intellectual faculty of rationality fails. A faded light shines on the way like a tiny, burning tea light: our senses, our sensuality, the devotion, the realness of the heart, the sacral power of the feminine quality. Magic and inner light…

 The endless depth of blue, where strength is born. It is easy to get lost in it, but it is the hardest to break free from it. Numerous doubts, reveries, anxieties, joy – they are all around them, but which one can they reach? Under their skins, an unstoppable force is crawling, about to erupt. It slowly devours and overpowers, not allowing escape.

The liaison of contemporary poetry, classical and contemporary dance, classical and contemporary music, and video art. The content behind the word appears in a different interpretation as the image complements and shines a new light on the poems and movements.

In our story, we arrive at Mother Holle’s house, where little elves are working busily, waiting for Mother Holle to arrive, who shows up soon after. She tells us a story that once happened to her. Many, many years ago, she told her tale to the Grimm Brothers, who wrote their story based on it and called it Mother Holle.

Originally written as a piano piece for four hands, it later was adapted into a ballet, which was arranged around the central figure of Sleeping Beauty. Our performance tells children in an interactive way, in the language of dance, a story about fairies, beauty and the beast, the Chinese Empress and Tom Thumb.

After The Tales of Mother Gooses, your favourites are back again! Come and see them again! In The Further Tales of Mother Goose, we follow the tried and tested structure of the first part, adapting a number of varied, exciting fairy tales. 

The story leads us to a community where nature in diverse forms and fairies are still part of the world, living in communion with people. Harmony and peace prevail. But once the son of man turns against the laws and breaks the rules, wanting control. The order is upset.

How obvious is it to adapt a Shakespeare play in the year of the 400th anniversary of his death? Possibly it suggested itself to be included in our repertoire because the play has something to tell us today, something that might be relevant to people nowadays?

Who are we really? The totality of our lifetimes – our time – from birth until death is the finite relation in which we give meaning to our own existence. Anyone who has a “present” has a past and a future: they live their own past, as required by their being and present, in harmony with their own future, from which this existence “happens”.

The images of Alphonse Mucha, the great master of Art Nouveau, come to life in this performance: the woman herself as seen by the painter in reality. Although the style of depiction and the medium of expression have changed, the essence and secrets of femininity have not: this is what the choreography attempts to decipher.

A snapshot of today. People come and go. They enter the space at random. They contact one another. What are they thinking about in that moment? What is going on in them? We experience various moods; we enter images. Internal monologues, desires float in front of our eyes, and yet everything comes together, everything is about one another.
